This tip sheet provides information and resources to help women take care of their oral health during pregnancy. Topics include getting oral health care, practicing good oral hygiene, eating healthy foods, and practicing other healthy behaviors. It also encourages women to take care of their infant’s gums and teeth and ask their pediatric health professional to check their infant’s mouth starting at age 6 months.
