Post-Tests
Post-tests are available in two formats: for no credit (for your own self-assessment) and for continuing education (CE) credits.
Continuing Education Credits
Four CE credits through the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) or through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Indian Health Service (IHS) will be awarded upon successful completion of this course.
CE credits through IHS are available to dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants. CE credits through ADHA are available to dental hygienists only. CE credits can be awarded either through ADHA or through IHS but not through both. You should receive your certificate of completion via e-mail on or shortly after the 15th of the month after you successfully complete the course.
There is no charge for CE credits for those eligible.
Requirements for Continuing Education Credits
- Only dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants are eligible to receive CE credits.
- There is no charge to take the course and no charge for CE credits for those eligible.
- To receive CE credits you must read the five modules, register, and successfully complete the post-tests.
- Approximately 1 month after you successfully complete the course, you will receive a certificate via e-mail.
