The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) has established standards for the provision of oral health care for individuals and organizations that will be providing care under the auspices of AHCCCS. The standards included are for the dentist of record, initial visit, history and clinical examination, radiographs, treatment plan, preventive care, restorative treatment, management of pain and anxiety and other dental procedures.
