The videotape shows how Early Head Start and Head Start are making a difference in the lives of four children and their families. These stories illustrate the primary health services that children and families receive while enrolled in Head Start. The videotape guide reinforces key messages from the videotape and provides a basic description of health services in Head Start as described in the Head Start Program Performance Standards. The guide offers ideas and suggestions for using the videotape with different audiences. The kit also includes an order form for both English and Spanish-language materials.

One vignette of the videotape, Matthew's Story, is excerpted below and illustrates an example of oral health services that children and families receive while enrolled in Head Start.
