Where can
I access electronic copies of current oral health materials?
Click on Materials.
The Materials page has links to materials produced by the
National Maternal and Child Oral Health Resource Center (OHRC)
as well as a link to search our entire
oral health library. Results include a full citation of the item, its description,
and information on how to acquire it. Many items are available online.
Can I copy OHRC
materials?
OHRC offers information on copyright on our Disclaimer
and Copyright page. Fact sheets, resource
bulletins, and resource guides produced by OHRC may be photocopied,
while adapting or reproducing OHRC-produced materials requires
permission. To request permission you
must
submit
written request (click here for a sample letter
in Word or PDF)
on your organization's official letterhead. Permission to use photographs
cannot be granted.

find out what is going on in my state?
There are different sources for state and regional information
on our Web site.
- Click on Regional
and State Summits for reports and other materials
related to meetings held for state and regional planning.
- Click on Links,
and then choose "State
Government" to
find a link to your state's office of oral health.
- Click
on MCHB-Funded
Projects, and search by your state to find active and
completed oral health projects.
- Click on Head
Start and then Forums,
for materials from state planning meetings focused on Head Start
and oral health.
What if I can't
find what I'm looking for?
If you would
like assistance narrowing down your information request, or if
you find our Web site difficult to use, please call us. Our information
line, (202) 784-9771, is always on for messages, and your call
will be returned promptly. You may send an e-mail request to

or contact any staff member individually (telephone numbers and
e-mail addresses are listed on our Contact page).
Can I order bulk
copies of OHRC publications?
Depending on
the intended use, OHRC publications are available in bulk at no
cost. Our publications are written at a high literacy level and
are not intended for the general public. Appropriate uses for
our fact sheets, tip sheets, and resource guides are for professional
education and
dissemination
to policymakers, educators, and others with the goal of improving oral
health services for infants, children, adolescents, and their families.

If
you are looking for bulk materials to distribute to families
in your Head Start
program or at health
fairs, we can refer you to materials produced by other organizations.
For example, the National Institute of Dental
and Craniofacial Research provides a variety of free
materials for the public in both print and electronic
formats.
Are OHRC materials
available in Spanish?
No. At this time, none of our materials are available in Spanish.
We do collect materials in other languages, and you can browse that
collection by typing the name of the language in the search
box on our Materials page, or, from our home page, click
on "Non-English
Language Materials."
What is
OHRC's mailing address?

Can you help
me find a dentist to treat my child?
OHRC does not provide direct clinical care or
referrals to specific health professionals. We can
refer
you to
sources to help find care.
