Provides information about evidence-based innovations and tools for improving the quality of health care and reducing health disparities.

American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Center for Evidence-Based Dentistry (EBD)
Provides tools and resources for integrating scientific evidence into oral health care, including a Database of Systematic Reviews.

Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) Maps
Provides data for states and selected metropolitan/micropolitan statistical areas on three of eight indicators in the National Oral Health Surveillance System, including annual dental visits and tooth extraction in adults.

Child Trends DataBank
Provides national trends and research on key indicators of child and adolescent well-being. Presents indicators by life stages, well-being areas, and context.

ClinicalTrials.gov
Provides information about clinical research studies for a range of diseases and conditions, including oral-health and dental-related studies. Select Search for Clinical Trials and click on Advanced Search.

CPONDER: CDC'sĀ PRAMSĀ Online Data for Epidemiologic Research
Provides access to state-specific, population-based data on maternal attitudes and experiences before, during, and shortly after pregnancy.

Data Resource Center (DRC) for Child and Adolescent Health
Provides data and information from the National Survey of Children's Health and the National Survey of Children with Special Health Care Needs including, national and state findings on child health indicators, state profiles on key topics, and how to effectively use the data.

Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Data Resource Center
Provides the Catalog of Surveys and Archive of Procedures Related to Oral Health, a data-query system for generating analyses of selected dental and oral health data, and lists of oral health questions used in national surveys.

Discretionary Grant Information System
Collects and reports financial and program data, performance measures, and abstracts from grants funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration's Maternal and Child Health Bureau.

Health Indicators Warehouse
Provides access to data to improve understanding of community health status and determinants, and to facilitate the prioritization of interventions.

Health Workforce Information Center
Provides information about resources, organizations, funding, events, and news that focus on the dental work force. Resources are organized by state and by topic.

HealthyPeople.gov
Provides information on the nation's Oral Health Leading Health Indicator and set of 10-year Oral Health Objectives. Baseline and target data including sources; an automated PubMed literature search; and clinical recommendations, community interventions, and consumer information are available for each objective.

Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation
The Medicaid Benefits Online Database provides survey data with information about dental service benefits covered, limits, co-payments, and reimbursement methods for the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the Territories.

Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) Topics: Dental
Provides information on the nature of any oral health care visit, use, event; type of provider, treatments and services performed, and prescribed medicines. Data tables, analytic tools, podcasts, and publications are also available.

My Water's Fluoride
Provides information about local water systems, including the target fluoridation rate and the number of people served.

National Guideline Clearinghouse
Provides evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, expert commentaries, guideline syntheses and resources, annotated bibliographies, and comparative analyses. Identify guidelines by clicking on Advanced Search.

National Institutes of Health (NIH) Research Portfolio Online Reporting Tools (RePORT): NIH RePORTER
Provides access to reports, data, and analyses of NIH research activities, including information on NIH expenditures and the results of NIH-supported research.

National Oral Health Surveillance System (NOHSS)
Collects and reports on oral health indicators by state, including dental visits, teeth cleaning, tooth loss, fluoridation status, caries experience, untreated tooth decay, dental sealants, and cancer of the oral cavity and pharynx.

National Quality Measures Clearinghouse
Provides summaries of measures, comparison tools, and materials on how to use, select, apply, and interpret quality measures. Includes a glossary, an expert commentary, a forum, and related resources.

Oral Health Maps
Presents indicators for water fluoridation, dental care use, untreated tooth decay, caries experience, and dental-sealant use among children. Includes national and state maps and lists of indicators by state or county.

Synopses of State and Territorial Dental Public Health Programs
Provides state- and territory-specific information, including (1) support for an oral health program; (2) support for a dental director; (3) percentage of people on public fluoridated water systems; and (4) trends in demographics, infrastructure, work force, administration, budget, and programs.

Title V Information System (Title V IS)
Provides financial, program, and performance-indicator data submitted in state Title V Maternal and Child Health Block Grant applications, annual reports, and 5-year needs assessments. State-by-state, regional, and national composite data are available.

Water Fluoridation Reporting System (WFRS)
Collects and reports on fluoride levels in public water systems for use by state programs, and serves as the basis for national reports and analysis. Provides a data-management tool for state-water-fluoridation program officials. Only registered state officials have access to this application.
